Women in
the Bible

Some women of the Bible are known by the words they spoke. Some had words of wisdom and encouragement for our lives today. Others spoke words of faith, some words of condemnation, and some words that served to save another’s life. Today they still speak to us across the years.

Sarai (Sarah)

“God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? For I have born him a son in his old age.” (Genesis 21:6-7)

Hagar

She answered God by name, praying to the God who spoke to her, “You’re the God who sees me! Yes! He saw me; and then I saw him.” (Genesis 16:3)

Naaman’s Servant
