Why this work matters
Studying women in the Bible is a way to understand both their lives and the times they lived in. Their stories give us insight into scripture and help us see how God works through different circumstances and experiences.
As you read, you may begin to recognize parts of your own life in these women. Some faced hardship. Some made difficult choices. Some lived in faith even when they did not fully understand what God was doing.
Their voices still speak. They speak through their actions, their decisions, and the moments they encountered God. These stories are here to help you reflect on your own walk and consider how God may be working in your life.
My name is Elise.
I am a Christian and an advocate for women’s growth and progress. I believe the stories of women in the Bible offer guidance, encouragement, and lessons that still matter today.
These women lived in cultures and conditions that were different from ours, yet many of their experiences remain familiar. They faced challenges, made decisions, and lived through situations that continue to reflect the realities women face.
Through this work, I want you to read their stories and consider what they reveal. You may see parts of your own life in their experiences. You may find encouragement in their faith or learn from the choices they made.
